Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility setting • Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to promote optimal health outcomes • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve patient goals
Required Qualifications:
• Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Maine • Valid certification in basic life support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting • Knowledge of gerontological nursing principles and practices • BLS and CPR certification with ongoing education and renewal requirements
