Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Asheville, NC

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Mids

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting • Assess and manage patients with acute and life-threatening conditions • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams • Utilize advanced assessment and critical thinking skills to prioritize patient needs • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting • 2 years’ experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and ENPC • Teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real-time • Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous HCA experience preferred • Advanced skills in procedures such as cardiac monitoring and internal processing • Experience with Cerner documentation system
