Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Asheville, NC

Schedule / Job Type: Nights, Travel

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess and manage patients with acute and critical conditions • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring timely and effective interventions • Utilize advanced skills and knowledge to perform various procedures and treatments • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in electronic medical records

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years' experience as a nurse with at least 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS • Ability to work in a high-acuity environment with multiple priorities and deadlines • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience in a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (> 100,000 visits) • Experience with advanced equipment and technology, including baxter pumps and GE monitors • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
