Therapist – Speech Language Pathologist

Job Title: Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Mauston, WI
Schedule / Job Type: Days, Full-time (80 hours per pay period)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide treatment for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Complete documentation including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge reports.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding benefits and authorizations.
• Prepare for therapeutic sessions and provide patient education following evaluations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment and assist patients and families with navigation and support.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Wisconsin.
• Valid driver’s license and current BLS certification.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate computer proficiency and strong assessment abilities.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
• More than one year of relevant work experience.
