Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and radiology procedures according to established exam protocols in a timely and accurate manner
• Demonstrate understanding of radiation dose reference levels, dose monitoring, and appropriate follow-up actions when reference levels are exceeded
• Communicate with patients and families using AIDET principles to verify correct patient and exam, explain procedures, and assess patient tolerance
• Prepare patients and equipment by positioning patients, adjusting immobilization devices, and setting appropriate exposure factors
• Adhere to safety, infection-control, radiation protection, and sterile technique requirements to protect patients and staff
• Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness standards; collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance

Required Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required (or eligibility)
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Ability to perform procedures independently with minimal routine oversight
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols, sterile techniques, and infection-control standards
• Ability to administer first aid and operate emergency equipment as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working across multiple patient age groups including newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Experience serving as a preceptor or trainer for new team members
• Demonstrated ability to review patient satisfaction data and develop action plans for improvement
