Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week contract, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Administer medications, including IVs, PICC lines, and PEG tubes
• Perform procedures such as bladder scans, trach care, tube feedings, Foley catheterizations, bladder irrigations, and blood transfusions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physical, occupational, and speech therapists, physicians, and neuropsychologists to facilitate patient recovery and functional independence
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech system
• Support patient safety and comfort, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and policies

Required Qualifications

• Valid VA RN license
• BLS certification
• 2+ years of Med/Surg or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous inpatient rehab experience
• Advanced clinical skills in IV therapy and complex patient care procedures
