• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location
• Marion, NC
Schedule / Job Type
• Night shift, 13-week travel assignment, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
• Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to laboring patients and postpartum mothers
• Manage labor and delivery procedures, including induction, vaginal delivery, vacuum-assisted delivery, and cesarean sections
• Monitor fetal health with fetal monitors and support continuous patient care
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, adhering to clinical guidelines and protocols
• Document patient progress accurately using electronic medical records (EMR)
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes
Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• Experience with labor management, induction procedures, and postpartum care
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Knowledge of manual external version and vacuum-assisted deliveries
• Experience in postpartum and couplet care
• Familiarity with acute care and emergency department tasks (preferred but not required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
