Travel, Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care in a high-volume Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke center.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe and efficient patient care.
• Triage and assess incoming patients, prioritize treatments, and perform necessary procedures.
• Document patient information accurately using Cerner electronic health record system.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort, adhering to hospital policies and standards.
• Demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and a strong patient-centered approach in a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina or as applicable.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a registered nurse, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC (within 90 days).
• Experience working in Level 2 trauma centers and high-volume EDs exceeding 100,000 visits annually.
• Ability to work flexible rotations, including every other weekend.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide real-time feedback and coaching.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a hospital with diverse and multicultural patient populations.
• Knowledge of GE monitors and Baxter pumps.
• Bilingual skills or experience serving a multicultural community.
• Familiarity with HCA hospital systems is a plus.
