Key Responsibilities

• Circulate in various surgical procedures including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology.
• Assist with turnover cleaning and prepare operating rooms between cases.
• Transport patients as needed and schedule surgical cases.
• Utilize equipment such as Meditech and PYXIS to support surgical operations.
• Assist with patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Participate in on-call duties, including after-hours and weekend rotations, with an average of 1-2 call shifts per week and up to 2 weekends per month.

Required Qualifications

• Hawaii RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2-3 years circulating in a hospital operating room setting
• Ability to independently circulate and assist with a variety of surgical procedures
• Ability to scrub cases is preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgeries
• Familiarity with hospital electronic systems like Meditech and PYXIS
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Additional Details

• The department features 6 OR suites plus a dedicated C-section suite, with 4 to 6 rooms operating simultaneously daily.
• Orientation will be on the day shift for up to one week at the manager's discretion.
• Travelers are required to complete a minimum of 39 shifts during the contract duration unless approved for time off.
• Must reside within a 30-minute radius of the hospital for call back purposes.
• Scrubs are provided; dress code is scrubs.
