Key Responsibilities
- Circulate in various surgical procedures including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology.
- Assist with turnover cleaning and prepare operating rooms between cases.
- Transport patients as needed and schedule surgical cases.
- Utilize equipment such as Meditech and PYXIS to support surgical operations.
- Assist with patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Participate in on-call duties, including after-hours and weekend rotations, with an average of 1-2 call shifts per week and up to 2 weekends per month.
Required Qualifications
- Hawaii RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2-3 years circulating in a hospital operating room setting
- Ability to independently circulate and assist with a variety of surgical procedures
- Ability to scrub cases is preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgeries
- Familiarity with hospital electronic systems like Meditech and PYXIS
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Additional Details
- The department features 6 OR suites plus a dedicated C-section suite, with 4 to 6 rooms operating simultaneously daily.
- Orientation will be on the day shift for up to one week at the manager's discretion.
- Travelers are required to complete a minimum of 39 shifts during the contract duration unless approved for time off.
- Must reside within a 30-minute radius of the hospital for call back purposes.
- Scrubs are provided; dress code is scrubs.
