- Full-time, Night shifts, Contract (13 weeks), Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown units.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry management, and respond to changes in patient status.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and according to hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or state of practice.
- Certification in BLS and ACLS.
- Experience with telemetry monitoring.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive care or stepdown nursing experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Recent experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to fast-paced environments.
