Key Responsibilities
• Provide respiratory care to patients on medical floors, adult critical care units, and emergency rooms, including treatments, secretion mobilization, and ventilation support (non-invasive and invasive).
• Assist with intubations, draw and analyze blood gases, and obtain EKGs.
• Operate and troubleshoot a variety of ventilators and respiratory equipment, such as Avea, Puritan Bennett models, VentiPac, V60, Vision, IPV, and Capnostream ETCO2.
• Utilize electronic medical records and medication dispensing systems, including EPIC EMR and OmniCell.
• Support patient care through respiratory procedures with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting.

Required Qualifications
• Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT or CRT).
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
• Flexibility to float across hospital units and to other locations as needed.
• Familiarity with ventilator equipment and blood gas analysis.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with advanced ventilators such as Avea, Puritan Bennett, and VentiPac.
• Prior work in adult critical care and emergency settings.
• Comfort working independently during night shifts.
