Key Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions following established safeguards and departmental guidelines.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Educate clients and their families on treatment schedules, self-exercises, and ongoing care.
• Utilize age-appropriate assessment and treatment techniques based on current research.
• Adapt treatment strategies for individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders.
• Maintain proper documentation using computerized charting systems such as One Chart.
• Follow clinical practice guidelines of professional organizations and facility protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Valid physical therapy license in the state of South Dakota.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in outpatient hospital settings; inpatient/sub-acute coverage a plus.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in similar outpatient or hospital environments.
• Knowledge of current research and best practices in physical therapy.
• Familiarity with medical equipment and computerized charting systems.
