Registered Nurse ICU

Job Title
• Registered Nurse - ICU

• Plano, TX

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting, including trauma, burn, and surgical patients.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage critical care equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and perform advanced procedures such as wound care, codes, EVDs, and MTP.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately using Meditech EMR.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, including weekend and on-call requirements.

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience, specifically in trauma, burn, or surgical ICU.
• Critical thinking and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and uphold unit protocols.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• BSN degree.
• CCRN or other specialized ICU certifications.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Meditech.
