Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room for elective surgical cases, including orthopedic, spine, cardiovascular, general, plastics, gynecology, robotic, and urology procedures.
- Assist with perioperative patient preparation, monitoring, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to protocols.
- Maintain sterile environments and operate OR equipment effectively.
- Document patient data accurately using Meditech EMR system.
- Adapt to support a team-oriented, fast-paced surgical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience.
- Current nursing licensure.
- Ability to handle elective surgical cases with no trauma cases involved.
- Knowledge of OR equipment and procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with orthopedic/spine surgeries.
- Cardiac/vascular (CV) surgery experience.
- Familiarity with robotic-assisted procedures.
- Flexible personality and adaptability to shift schedules.
