- Full-time, travel, 13-week assignment, days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care on a Cardiac Stepdown Unit in team nursing model alongside RNs, managing up to 8 patients.
- Administer medications, perform wound care, and assist with patient monitoring and daily needs.
- Support all patient care activities excluding assessments, discharge documentation, restraints, and blood administration setup, which are handled by RNs.
- Collaborate with a team including PCTs to assist with vital signs, patient comfort, and basic care tasks.
- Follow unit protocols and comply with dress code and safety standards, including scrub color and attire requirements.
Required Qualifications
- LPN/LVN license in good standing.
- BLS, ACLS certification required.
- Experience with cardiac monitoring and med/surg procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant healthcare experience.
- Prior experience in a medical/surgical or cardiac stepdown setting.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system.
