Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed therapists in providing occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility.
- Implement treatment plans and therapeutic activities designed to improve patient outcomes.
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting findings to supervising therapists.
- Ensure safe and effective delivery of therapy services in accordance with facility policies.
- Collaborate with team members to support patient care and rehabilitation goals.
Required Qualifications
- Valid certification or license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
- Strong understanding of occupational therapy techniques and patient care procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with elderly or geriatric populations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
