Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical unit.
• Perform basic patient assessments and monitor patient conditions regularly.
• Manage post-operative procedures, including care for wounds, drains, chest tubes, and ostomies.
• Administer prescribed medications, including Heparin drips, and operate IV pumps.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and effective communication.
• Document patient care and vital signs accurately using Meditech system.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant hospital experience.
• Ability to perform patient assessments and manage wound care, tracheostomy, ostomy, drains, and chest tubes.
• Knowledge of post-op procedures, including amputations, OR surgeries, and wound vacs.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with dialysis or PCA pumps.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
