Travel, Full-time, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
• Monitor and interpret remote telemetry monitors to track patient cardiac status.
• Assist with procedures such as chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
• Adhere to unit policies, including telemetry monitoring and stroke protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale.
• Knowledge of chest tubes, dysrhythmia management, and related procedures.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to floating policies.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with remote telemetry systems and advanced cardiac monitoring.
• Familiarity with hospital protocols for stroke and telemetry units.
• Ability to perform bedside procedures such as bedside paracentesis and thoracentesis.
