Job Title
• Surgical Tech - L&D Scrub Tech
Location
• Englewood, CO
Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with obstetric surgeries such as C-sections and other procedures in a labor & delivery setting
• Circulate during surgical cases and support patient care for both low and high-risk obstetric patients
• Operate and troubleshoot obstetric monitoring equipment including GE fetal monitors
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and doulas to ensure smooth patient management
• Maintain sterile field and support surgical team during procedures like cerclages, versions, and epidurals
• Adhere to clinical policies, safety standards, and patient experience protocols
Required Qualifications
• Certified Surgical Tech (CST) with at least 2 years of experience
• Ability to circulate during C-sections and care for obstetric patients at different risk levels
• BLS, NRP, ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with fetal monitoring and EMR systems such as CPN and Meditech
• Strong patient care skills and teamwork abilities
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with unblocked/un epiduralized patients and mom/baby care
• Excellent collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, midwives, and doulas
• Knowledge of obstetric procedures such as D&C’s, fetal demise care, and epidurals
• Leadership qualities and cheerful, team-oriented personality
