Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology procedures in the cath lab.
- Prepare patient rooms and equipment, and instruct patients before procedures.
- Monitor patient conditions during procedures and provide routine and emergency care as needed.
- Contribute to training and orientation of team members.
- Support daily, monthly, and quarterly quality control efforts through auditing and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Certification or registration in at least one of the following: RCIS, RCES, CEPS, CCDS, MRT, or ARRT-R.
- BLS and ACLS certification within 30 days of hire/transfer.
- Less than 1 year of experience preferred; candidates with radiology tech or OR experience in a hospital setting will be considered.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with structural heart cases, vascular procedures, left heart catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, or electrophysiology studies.
- Ability to work on call, including after hours, weekends, and holidays, with a response time within 30 minutes.
