Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to K-5th grade students in a school setting.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to support student success.
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, documenting outcomes appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with all special education policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid special education teaching certification for K-5th grade.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches to diverse learner needs.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a multiple-site or split-location role.
- Knowledge of federal and state special education regulations.
- Ability to engage and motivate young learners.
