Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days shift, 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday, weekend rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in a skilled nursing facility
- Provide occupational therapy services to improve patients' functional abilities
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Support post-hospital, short-term rehabilitation, as well as long-term and respite care needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Maine
- Proven experience in a skilled nursing or rehab facility (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in post-acute rehabilitation settings
- Knowledge of best practices in occupational therapy for elderly and disabled populations
