Registered Nurse - PACU
Location: Denver, CO
Schedule / Job Type: Travel – Days shift (8:00 AM - 8:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess recovery progress using Phillips monitors and EMR systems.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage a patient ratio of 2:1, providing attentive and personalized care.
• Float between pre-op and PACU units, adapting to the needs of the department.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies and guidelines, including call responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Experience with Meditech EMR system.
• Ability to handle a variety of surgical cases, including complex surgeries.
• Flexibility to work across units and adapt to changing schedules.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous PACU or post-anesthesia care experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
