Registered Nurse Telemetry
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Telemetry

- Wichita, KS
Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients, including monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
- Administer medication and IV drips using Kangaroo pumps and other medical equipment
- Perform procedures such as bubble studies and EEGs, adhering to unit protocols
- Document patient care and interactions accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech)
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or cardiac unit
- Proficiency with medication drips and telemetry monitoring systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NICU experience or familiarity with advanced cardiac procedures
- Experience working with Meditech EMR system
- Positive, engaged attitude with flexibility to adapt to unit needs
