Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Telemetry

• Wichita, KS

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients, including monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medication and IV drips using Kangaroo pumps and other medical equipment
• Perform procedures such as bubble studies and EEGs, adhering to unit protocols
• Document patient care and interactions accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech)
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or cardiac unit
• Proficiency with medication drips and telemetry monitoring systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NICU experience or familiarity with advanced cardiac procedures
• Experience working with Meditech EMR system
• Positive, engaged attitude with flexibility to adapt to unit needs
