Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Schedule / Job Type
Travel, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory conditions such as asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema
- Operate and manage respiratory equipment including Servo I ventilators, nebulizers, Hamilton, V60, Astral, CPAP, and BiPAP machines
- Perform arterial blood gases (ABGs) and other respiratory procedures
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma experience
- Previous experience with Meditech electronic medical records
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
