Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs to improve patients' physical function following injury or surgery.
• Consult with patients, review medical histories, and assess movement dysfunction to diagnose issues.
• Provide hands-on therapy, including massage and muscular manipulation, to alleviate pain and promote healing.
• Educate patients on therapeutic exercises and stretches and monitor their progress.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient care, progress, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Experience working directly with patients in a long-term care or hospital setting.
• Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care and work effectively within a team.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with outpatient and inpatient therapy environments.
• Ability to educate and motivate patients across diverse developmental and sociocultural backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
