• Full-time, night shift (12-hour shifts, nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a high-risk cardiology telemetry floor, managing cardiac drips, TAVR, and post-CABG/VATS patients.
• Perform bedside shift reports each shift and conduct hourly patient rounding.
• Monitor and manage central lines, sheath pulls, and cardiac drips as required.
• Cover all aspects of patient care within assigned units, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe, timely, and effective patient treatment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or cardiac unit.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience managing cardiac drips and central lines preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity cardiac or ICU setting.
• Ability to perform sheath pulls and manage complex cardiac cases.
• Familiarity with electronic charting systems (EPIC preferred).
