Travel, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the IMU (Intermediate Medical Unit) with a focus on telemetry patients.
- Perform procedures including management of central lines, medication drips, heart cath recovery, and bubble studies.
- Monitor and operate patient equipment such as PCA and IV pumps, chest tubes, and other medical devices.
- Document patient care accurately in Meditech EMR system.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in telemetry or IMU units.
- Knowledge of Meditech EMR system.
- Prior experience with heart cath recovery or bubble studies.
- Strong critical thinking skills and a positive, engaged attitude.
