Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms, responding to changes appropriately.
• Administer medications and IV therapies according to physician orders.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and patient confidentiality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience in a comparable setting.
• Knowledge of medication drips, central lines, and heart cath recovery procedures.
• Ability to work night shift hours and float to other units as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry and cardiac monitoring.
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar EMR systems.
• Strong critical thinking and team collaboration skills.
