Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and manage various drains and medical devices.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Kansas or the ability to acquire one.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or critical care setting.
• Knowledge of medication drips, central lines, and heart cath recovery procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac patient care.
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
