• Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
• Provide attentive, compassionate care to adult patients in a busy Neuro Med/Surg unit
• Monitor patient vital signs and utilize telemetry equipment effectively
• Assist with procedures such as IV starts, wound care, and management of surgical drains and tubes
• Collaborate with nursing team to prioritize patient care and ensure timely interventions
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech system
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, including certification requirements
Required Qualifications
• Active RN license in Tennessee or applicable state
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience
• Ability to start IVs, perform basic wound care, and manage surgical drains and tubes
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Familiarity with neuro and stroke patient care
• Experience working in a trauma-level hospital environment
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a high-paced clinical setting
