Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts, rotating day/night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to patients in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit.
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, ensuring timely interventions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and manage patient safety according to protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
- Rotate working at least every other holiday as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent Med-Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
- 18 months of permanent experience in the specified specialty prior to travel assignment.
- Valid Ohio licensure or Compact State license.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital setting with telemetry monitoring.
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems such as Qualivis – Lotus.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts and holiday rotations.
