Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to cardiac and telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
- Monitor patient vital signs and prepare reports for physicians.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders.
- Document patient responses and progress in electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or be eligible for licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry or cardiac stepdown nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work night shifts effectively.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital environment, specifically in telemetry units.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
