- Travel, Days shift, 13-week assignment, full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide circulating nursing care independently during various surgical procedures in a high-volume operating room
- Assist with all types of surgeries excluding transplants, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
- Operate and troubleshoot standard OR equipment, including Stryker systems and EMR documentation
- Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff, to ensure efficient procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow unit policies and safety guidelines
- Adapt quickly to new technologies and unit procedures to support seamless patient care
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Colorado or appropriate jurisdiction
- 2+ years of operating room (OR) nursing experience
- Ability to circulate independently in a fast-paced surgical environment
- BLS certification at minimum
- Must have or be able to obtain CNOR certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech EMR system
- Ability to scrub in on surgical procedures
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and unit needs
