Job Title:

Schedule / Job Type:
• Day shift, travel, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in surgical procedures within the main operating room, ensuring sterile techniques and safety protocols are maintained
• Support surgical team with passing instruments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring smooth workflow
• Adhere to unit policies and guidelines, demonstrating flexibility with shift hours and call requirements
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality perioperative care
• Assist with set-up and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment

Required Qualifications:
• CST certification or equivalent surgical technologist credential
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience, including ortho/joint procedures and trauma experience
• Ability to work flexible hours, including call shifts and varied schedules
• Self-directed with strong accountability and teamwork skills
• Experience with EMR systems, such as Meditech

Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Level I trauma center experience
• Experience with complex surgeries excluding CVOR, neuro, and transplants
• Demonstrated high level of professionalism and reliability
