Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized cardiovascular operating room nursing care for surgical patients.
- Assist with preoperative assessments and prepare patients for cardiac surgeries.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedures.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards during cardiovascular surgeries.
- Support patient recovery and post-operative care as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR).
- Ability to work varied shifts, including days.
- Strong understanding of cardiac surgical procedures.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience.
- Familiarity with hospital protocols specific to CVOR cases.
- Certified in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) or other relevant certifications.
