Therapist - Occupational Therapy Assistant

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy assistant services to patients in a skilled nursing facility.
• Assist licensed therapists in implementing treatment plans and patient care routines.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Support patient rehabilitation through therapeutic activities aimed at improving daily living skills.
• Ensure safety and adherence to facility protocols during therapy sessions.

Required Qualifications:

• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
• At least 1 year of professional experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
• Strong understanding of occupational therapy techniques and patient care.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Skills / Experience:

• Experience working specifically in SNF or long-term care settings.
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
