- Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and other specialized oncological treatments
- Monitor patients closely for neutropenic fever and manage protocols accordingly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses in Meditech EMR
- Adhere to unit policies, protocols, and safety guidelines for Blood & Marrow Transplant (BMT) patients
- Provide compassionate, team-oriented care to support patients through their cancer treatment journey
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience, preferably in oncology or critical care
- Experience with chemotherapy administration and neutropenic protocols
- ACLS certification
- Oncology-specific certifications such as Chemotherapy Certification, BMTCN, and/or OCN
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology experience, especially in Blood & Marrow Transplant (BMT) units
- Familiarity with Alaris Pumps and other specialized oncology equipment
- Experience with CAR-T therapies or related regenerative treatments
