Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room prior to surgical procedures.
• Support surgical teams during procedures, ensuring proper equipment and supplies are available.
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with nurses and surgeons to ensure smooth workflow during surgeries.
• Assist with patient setup and post-operative cleanup as needed.
• Follow facility policies and procedures to ensure high standards of patient care and safety.

Required Qualifications

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification.
• Valid RN license for nursing candidates is also acceptable.
• Ability to respond within 45 minutes for on-call shifts.
• Experience working in a surgical or OR setting, particularly with cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification for nurses.
• Experience in cardiac and vascular surgery, including procedures such as CABG, AVR, MVR, aortic replacements, and heart transplants.
• Prior experience in a hybrid OR setting.
