Key Responsibilities
• Assist licensed occupational therapists in delivering patient care
• Conduct therapeutic activities to improve patients' functional abilities
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately
• Support treatment sessions and ensure a safe environment for patients
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards
Required Qualifications
• Valid certification/license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Professional experience working in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient safety protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and document findings accurately
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience in long-term care or SNF environments
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to adapt treatment strategies to diverse patient needs
