Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients
- Implement treatment plans and therapeutic activities under supervision
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Support patient engagement and ensure safety during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Prior experience working in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and adhere to safety protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in outpatient or acute care settings
- Familiarity with documentation and therapy equipment
- Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs and treatment plans
