Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient telemetry nursing care to adult patients in a 32-bed unit.
- Monitor patient cardiac status using GE Telemetry systems.
- Perform procedures such as IV starts, Foley catheter placements, and chest tube removals.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Document patient information accurately in the Meditech EMR system.
- Respond quickly and effectively to patient needs and changes in condition.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Telemetry experience is mandatory.
- Ability to care for post-op CABG patients preferred.
- Experience with Meditech EMR system a plus.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for post-surgical cardiac patients.
- Prior experience with IV starts, Foley insertions, and chest tube management.
- Outgoing personality and team-oriented mindset.
- Willing to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
