Job Title
• Registered Nurse - ICU

• Anchorage, AK

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, travel assignment, night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week duration

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality ICU care for critically ill patients, including intubation and managing ventilated patients
• Independently manage patients requiring pressor titration and advanced monitoring
• Perform procedures such as arterial line insertion, chest tube placement, and central line insertion
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records (EPIC) system
• Monitor patient responses and collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards, including maintaining certifications and certifications updates

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in Alaska
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Ability to independently care for intubated patients and manage pressors

Preferred Experience / Skills
• At least 1 year of ICU experience recovering open heart surgery patients within 12 hours post-op
• Experience with advanced ICU procedures and critical care management

• Floating to other units such as CVSU, ORTHO, Rehab, or SPCU may be required based on staffing needs
