Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel assignment, 12-hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative recovery care in the PACU, including managing patient sedation recovery and post-procedural devices.
• Monitor patients using telemonitoring and advanced equipment such as EPIC EMR, cardiac, cath, and orthopedic devices.
• Collaborate with a team of RNs and support staff to ensure efficient patient care and safety.
• Manage patient ratios of approximately 2:1 during shifts, ensuring quality care in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with patient assessments, observe vital signs, and respond to any complications post-procedure.
• Participate in on-call rotations, with approximately 4-5 night shifts per week, including weekends.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Alaska RN license (permanent licensure required for submission).
• At least 2 years of recent PACU experience.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred.
