Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to various patient populations for therapeutic purposes.
- Perform bedside diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Review and update respiratory care plans based on patient evaluations.
- Conduct patient assessments and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Serve as a preceptor for students and new hires to ensure proper training and adherence to protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.
- Current Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners.
- Current CPR certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS and NRP certifications (required for Parkview Randallia location or to be obtained within 6 months).
- PALS and StABLE certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to be on call.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
