Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to diverse patient populations for therapeutic purposes.
- Perform bedside diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Review and adjust respiratory care plans based on patient assessments.
- Conduct evaluations on patients and modify care plans accordingly.
- Assist as a preceptor for students and new staff members.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a respiratory therapy program.
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.
- Current Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners.
- CPR certification.
- For Parkview Randallia location: ACLS and NRP certifications or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- For Community Hospital locations: ACLS and NRP certifications or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Must be able to be on call and lift up to 30 pounds.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PALS and Stabile certifications are preferred but not required.
