Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments to patients based on individualized treatment plans.
• Assist licensed Occupational Therapists with tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Observe, document, and report patient conditions, responses, and progress.
• Maintain detailed treatment records and progress notes in electronic medical records (Cerner and Matrix).
• Support admissions screenings and collaborate with family members, physicians, and healthcare teams.
• Assist with departmental equipment and participate in in-service programs and meetings.

Required Qualifications

• Current registration or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant or related qualifying credential.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical records systems (Cerner, Matrix) preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in inpatient, long-term care, or outpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
