Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Schedule / Job Type: Contract, Nights shifts, 4 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy services primarily in Labor & Delivery (L&D), NICU, PICU, and Pediatric units
• Administer ventilator management, NICU, and PICU ventilator support including Servo I, Servo U, and Hamilton G5 systems
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float between NICU, PICU, and Peds units as needed based on hospital requirements
• Maintain compliance with all certification and licensure requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Indiana State Respiratory Therapist license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• NBRC-RRT certification (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum of 18 months recent NICU or PICU experience, including ventilator management
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (NRP and PALS preferred, can be obtained upon offer)
• Experience with NICU/PICU ventilator support (Servo I, Servo U, Hamilton G5)
• Experience working in children's hospital units or trauma units

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• L&D experience, with a focus on neonatal and pediatric care
• Experience floating between PICU, NICU, and Peds units
• Prior experience in a pediatric or children's hospital setting within the past year
