Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Full-time, 13-week assignment, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized intensive care to critically ill patients in a busy ICU setting.
• Independently manage intubated patients and titrate pressors.
• Perform procedures such as intubation, arterial line, chest tube, and central line insertions.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and charting.
• Collaborate with a team of 8 RNs per shift, maintaining patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1.
• Ensure compliance with unit protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active AK RN License
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Ability to independently manage critically ill, intubated patients and titrate pressors

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least 2 years of ICU experience
• Prior recovery experience post-open heart surgery (less than 12 hours post-op)
• Experience performing procedures such as intubation, arterial, chest, and central line insertions
