Registered Nurse ICU
Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Full-time, 13-week assignment, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized intensive care to critically ill patients in a busy ICU setting.
- Independently manage intubated patients and titrate pressors.
- Perform procedures such as intubation, arterial line, chest tube, and central line insertions.
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and charting.
- Collaborate with a team of 8 RNs per shift, maintaining patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1.
- Ensure compliance with unit protocols and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active AK RN License
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Ability to independently manage critically ill, intubated patients and titrate pressors
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least 2 years of ICU experience
- Prior recovery experience post-open heart surgery (less than 12 hours post-op)
- Experience performing procedures such as intubation, arterial, chest, and central line insertions
