Registered Nurse Oncology
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Oncology

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for oncology patients, including administering treatments such as blood and electrolyte replacement and chemotherapy.
- Monitor patient conditions, assess symptoms, and respond to patient needs based on unit protocols.
- Manage and document patient care using electronic medical records (Meditech).
- Follow strict infection control policies, including neutropenic precautions and linen changes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of intake and output, medication administration, and patient progress.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
- Oncology nursing experience is mandatory
- Certification or experience in hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplant is preferred
- Ability to work night shift (7 PM - 7 AM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Hematology background
- Chemotherapy certification
- Experience in inpatient oncology units or bone marrow transplant units
